Websites & custom software
Websites, built and looked after.
Two prices, not one: what it costs to build, and what it costs to keep alive. Both are on this page, because a website nobody maintains is a website that quietly breaks.
What it costs to build
Published prices. No “request a quote”.
These are the numbers we invoice from. If your project does not fit one of them, the conversation starts here rather than at a mystery.
3-page business website
Home, about, contact — enough to be found and be believed.
- Fixed layouts from our own set, branded to you
- The pages in the package
- One round of revisions
- Deployment and a handover session
5-page website
Adds services, gallery or team and a second content page.
- Everything in the 3-page build
- Two more pages of your content
- One round of revisions
- Search basics set up properly
Ecommerce store
Quoted to $900 with the catalogue and payment setup you need.
- Products, orders and stock
- Checkout and payment rails
- Order notifications to you
- Training on adding products
Extra page
Any page beyond your package, at the same standard.
Revamp of an existing site
Of the equivalent build fee, after we have seen what is there.
Integrations and anything bespoke
Payment rails, booking systems, a portal — quoted per request.

The scope, in writing
What the build fee buys — and what it does not.
A cheap build becomes an expensive afternoon when nobody agreed the scope. So it is written on every quote:
- Fixed layouts from our own set, branded to you — not a bespoke design drawn from nothing
- The pages in your package, carrying the content you supply
- One round of revisions
- Deployment, and a handover session so you can change the words yourself
- Fourteen days of bug fixes after go-live
- Ongoing changes, hosting and monitoring — that is the care plan
Billed as a deposit on the first working version, and the balance on completion. You see the site working before you pay for it in full.
What it costs to keep
Care plans, hosting and search.
Every plan includes hosting, the domain renewal, TLS, backups and monitoring, and every plan carries an allowance of our time. A client on a care plan never pays for hosting separately.
Care plan — Basic
a monthHosting, domain renewal, TLS, backups, monitoring, patches, and one hour of changes.
Care plan — Standard
a monthThe same, plus three hours, same-working-day support and a monthly health report.
Shop care
a monthFor a live shop: four hours, checkout and order monitoring, patches tested before they go live, store and database backups.
Hosting
a monthHosting, TLS, backups, monitoring and patches. No changes included.
Managed hosting
a monthFor a site we did not build: you upload the files and describe the change, we deploy and keep the database in order. Two hours.
Search optimisation
a monthTwo hours a month on the page work, a Google Business Profile, local listings and a monthly Search Console report.
Anything beyond the allowance
an hourAgreed before it starts, or as a change request quoted from $25.
Allowances are allowances, not promises: work beyond them is billed at $25 an hour, agreed before it starts.
